Preschool & Childcare
Your child's time at Child's Play is always well spent. Whether you opt for a preschool class that meets a couple of times a week or you spend time in our childcare program, we provide a consistent program with familair teachers facilitating common educational goals.
Our progressive program emphasizes language development, friendship, science, life & self-help skills, math, culture, dramatic play, fine motor manipulatives, gross motor play and literacy.
Preschool and childcare kids have their own classrooms which are theme based and provide new weekly learning experiences. Kids are given opportunities to engage in our outdoor classroom as well as in open-ended art. Our program is intentionally planned to help kids work on their soft skills while engaging in muti-sensory learning experiences.
Child's Play teaches Handwriting Without Tears® ; a fun, entertaining, and educationally sound instructional method to teach handwriting. Handwriting Without Tears is based on the developmental stages for drawing and writing readiness. It effectively teaches correct and effective grip with singing and modeling as well as promoting capital letter recognition with music and hands-on play. This program builds beginning habits for letter and number formation with multi-sensory letter play activities that teach social skills, body awareness, counting, and pre-writing.
We offer a "lunch bunch" to children who attend the afternoon preschool classes. This group provides the kids with their own circle time and hands-on lesson. It also gives them an opportunity to work on their self-help skills while eating lunch together as a group.
Preschool
Child's Play operates in a small home-like space. We have only two preschool classes per day. Preschool services are billed monthly and a materials fee is paid two times per school year. Preschool starts in September and ends in May. We offer a summer session from mid June through July.
Stars - 2-3 year olds

Childcare
Our facility offers a full eat-in kitchen, fenced-in outdoor classroom, two playrooms, and a nap room with separate, private sleeping areas. Kids are able to have a snack or lunch, take a nap, and play with friends, all in a home-like setting.
All childcare schedules are individualized. We do not offer a weekly or daily childcare rate. When enrolled, a weekly schedule is created using the child's drop-off and pick-up times. All childcare services are billed by the hour. We accept children over the age of 18 months and welcome part-time and full-time schedules.
Scheduled drop-in is available to Child's Play clients only.

Tuition Express
Tuition is billed safely and conveniently using an automatic payment processing system that allows tuition and fee payments to be made from your bank account or by credit card (MasterCard, Visa & Discover). After paying the first deposit by check, parents are required to sign-up for Tuition Express. The application can be downloaded to the right.
